EDG Second Life T-shirts

I thought it was about time I came up with a Second Life product that I was happy with – so I am pleased to present these T-shirts, with the EDG logo on the front, and a slogan-despising slogan on the back.

Don’t we all hate those T-shirts with logos on them, advertising someone else’s product, with those supposedly witheringly witty words printed somewhere on them?

I’m hoping to have the matching RL product available in the very near future, pending the finding of a printer I am happy with in terms of both rates and print quality. Expect more Words On Shirts soon!

Also coming soon to SL, Basic Black skirts and pants.

New Bookage!

Seshat and I went in to the city today and picked up a new stash of books, specifically Seshat bought a book about Fashion Design with her luxury money. Not only was it about design, but also about sketching, texturing, textiles, and a whole host of other things. Now if that's not useful in my current endeavours, what is?

During the week, a book I ordered several months ago arrived from Alibris (I have expereienced more promptness from their deliveries before): "What is Goth?" by Voltaire. No, not that Voltaire. Anyway, with perspicacious and coherent writing and humerous passages, this Voltaire delivers an accurate picture of Gothicness from ancient times to times current. This too will assist me greatly in my designs.

Every Day Gothic

This blog is designed to track the establishment and expansion (one hopes :) ) of Every Day Gothic; I am undertaking this venture in Second Life and IRL. I hope that the clothing I create in Second Life will become a physical reality, and vice versa.

Every Day Gothic is a line of clothing for gothic folk who want to remain clothed in gothic gear every day, but don't want the hassle of dressing up every day just to maintain their identity. Wear Every Day Gothic, everyday :)

My sister establishment, Seshat Studios, has provided much inspiration and concrete knowledge, and I am forever indebted to Seshat for this. Also, to Spark of Genius, Tateru Nino's establishment in Second Life, I give thanks for information, thoughts, and sparks of genius; I am forever indebted to Tateru for these. <3 <3 <3 guys!!
